A baby who died while in a Toronto nursing home was found dead on the same day his parents were discovered, according to police.
Police have charged a man in connection with the deaths of two babies in Elmwood, north of Toronto, on Jan. 26.
They were found dead inside a nursing facility, police said.
A medical examiner’s report found the babies were dead because they had been placed in a crib with no oxygen.
Police say the deaths occurred at Elmwood Nursing Home, a facility for children with developmental disabilities.
The facility was closed in July and shut down in November 2016.
A nursing home spokeswoman declined to comment on the new allegations.
